This story was interesting very readable. The contents were repetitions of a simple sentence. Because, I was able to memorize the contents immediately. The story is which the husband and wife who went shopping pass by escalator. I thought that I would be glad if this book is read to the child. The repetition was like the conte.

"The car broke down. Oh no! everyone said."

I thought that this story was pleasant story before read this book. But, this story was drawind the childrens action. Mr. Kipper's family and the family of Wilma made the house of big shoes, and participated in the costume parade. In the costume parade, children went into the house of big shoes and the father of Wilma was towing it by car. But, the car has broken down on the way. They did not give up and pushed big shoe and went. I think that this book wanted to tell the dreadfulness of the power which a child considers.

When I grow up, I want a child to read this book.

This book was very short story. But, I thought that much love was in the short story. The idea of the husband for pleasing a wife was wonderful. He held the party and prepared the present. How to pass his present was very cool. In the point that the box becomes small rapidly, are very nice. It was completely like matreshka. I would also come to like to be able to pass a present smartly like him.

Essay5 Movie Review ~Romio+Juriet~

I watched "Romeo + Juliet", I thought that this movie was a masterpiece. Although this movie was arranged in the modern version in the original, words and the gist of the story were of course still originals. The famous scenes which promise love mutually in a back yard were still originals. The scene where Juliet who attached feather to the back appears first was very impressive. She was very lovely. But, I like original one better than the modern version. Although the modern version was fresh, the back side of this love story could not be expressed.

I watched at this original story in my introduction to English literature class. The background of this love story has the history of opposing both families and its dignity. The modern version did not have a peculiar atmosphere of Romeo and Juliet. I think that the original was able to express the point. But, the modern version also had good points.

First, the vision and atmosphere were impressive. Although this movie's words and the course of talk is the original, the stage is the modern age. Their everyday wear is aloha shirts, the party which tends to make noise, the inside of a church is colorful and the duel is in the beach, thus, the stage is the modern age. They say the words gravely written hundreds of years ago in this sight. I became to like this fresh gap.

Next, the movie adhered not only to words but to stage props. Although they had a sword in the original, they had a handgun in the modern version. I was surprised at such an idea. The Movie director is based also on such an idea and I think that the movie director did not make words modern languages. I think that the contents of the movie had changed if he made language the modern language.

Last, I felt very fresh the love story by the background was unfolded in the modern age. I think that the movie director would want to tell us this freshness.

Although I seldom counted on "Romeo and Juliet" of the modern version, I thought that such an arrangement was also good. I thought that Shakespeare who made a production which has the remake version made was a wonderful person even if time passes.

A. I think they were not able to live the satisfying life. I don't think them who are watching and enjoying others' life as satisfactory. Truman was happily live in every day. Because, I think Truman was live to real and satisfying than the people watching “The Truman Show”.

Because Japan is unsafe now, parents worry that they may go to travel alone. And, Hitchhike is seldom caught in Japan.

A. The culture similar to Japan is the feeling as opposed to a child in parents. If my child goes missing, Almost parents will be worried by child. I thought the relation between parents and a child was common to the world.

A. Although I think that his action is wonderful, I don’t think that the action is right. He should have talked with parents and should have become reconciled. Especially I thought my younger sister as pitiful. He talks with his parents also for a younger sister, and I think that he should have gone to travel after that.

Essay4 Movie Review ~Camp Rock~

I watched the movie "Camp Rock" and I got energy and became motivated. I think that the person who saw this movie can get energy. Many music and dances are used in the story and vigor was on the movie. I was able to feel invigoration from the vigor. And, I felt that the last "School of Rock" was resembled for this movie in respect of the rock. The Final scene where they were pumped up for everybody was similar to that movie. Moreover, I think that it was the greatest points that much rock music was used for this movie. I think that this point gave force to the movie.

I have three points which are pleasing in this movie. First points, it is that "youth" was overflowing. I have much uneasiness towards job-hunting activities now. I worry about the job hunting activities every day. But, they were enjoying every day with a "dream" and "hope." Though they had a trouble of love and study, they were doing their best in order to do their favorite thing. I thought that I had to follow after the example of them. I got the message from them "Don't worry but move forward." I got energy from this. Next, Only good music was used for the movie. Though I seldom know about Rock of Western music, the music had tempo and a good music tone, and I also had listened to the music. Three songs which flowed in the last 15 minutes were the highest for me. “This is me” and “We Rock”, “Our Time Is Here”. I am pleased with these three songs. I was especially impressed by "We Rock" sung by all the members. This music also had the dance and "We Rock" was very powerful. After seeing the movie, I listened to music over and over again. Last, I was impressed the conversation with Mitchie and her mother. "It is not necessary to fake oneself because you have many good points." Her mother told Mitchie this word. I thought that this word was applied also to present me. I thought that this was great word.

This movie gave me energy very well. Although I was made to think, I think that was a movie which can be enjoyed with families. I think that I have few grown up , I was able to see a good movie.

Yakult Swallows ~Ryouji Aikawa~

The fifth phase of the Yakult Swallows. Today, I introduce Ryouji Aikawa, the catcher of the Yakult Swallows.

Ryoji Aikawa is from Chiba and he is 35 years old. His jersey number is No. 2. He belonged to the Yokohama BayStars from the first. In 1994, he joined the Yokohama BayStars at the 5th place of the draft. Although he had the baseball sense from his high school days, the team was weak and he could not be conspicuous. He participated in the regular-season game for the first time in the fifth year. But, he was not able to become very much regular.

When he has distinguished himself gradually in 2004, he was chosen as the representative of Japan for the Athens Olympics baseball. He devoted in the role of a backroom person there, and he was appreciated very much by everybody of the team. After the homecoming, he maintained good condition and became regular. Moreover, he worked the players' association chief of the Yokohama BayStars for three years from 2005. He was elected as WBC in 2006.

In 2009, he transferred to the Yakult Swallows. He acted as the regular immediately after the transfer. Although he has many injuries, he is still continuing protecting a catcher's regular.

I would like to expect his activity also from next year.

Today, I introduce Masanori Ishikawa, the southpaw ace of the Yakult Swallows. Masanori Ishikawa is from Akita and he is 31 years old. His height is the physique very short in stature in 167 cm. This height is new in a pitcher. His jersey number is No. 19. He joined Yakult by the free draft frame in 2001. He was not a player famous out of a draft.

But, he entered one team from the next year who joined an organization. He got a first victory by the first pro start. Then, he continued protecting starting rotation with the newcomer. He marked 12 victories and he won the Rookie of the Year award in the year. he also marked 12 victories in the 2003 of the next year and he won the JCB-MEP prize. He can leave a starter pitcher from 2004. For the right ace of Tateyama and the left ace of Ishikawa is called Yakult of pitchers.

His play style should make a batter out by a variegated breaking pitch. Although his speed of a pitched ball is slow, a slider, a screw, a cutter, a shot, a curve, change-up, etc. can pitch. Especially his slow curve is the highest. He named the curve the "Katsuo curve." And he is also called "the small giant" from the physique short in stature.

Although he is a small giant, he is a big giant as a player. I want him to do my best at this tune also from next year.

The third phase of the Yakult Swallows. Today, I introduce Shinya Miyamoto, the veteran of the Yakult Swallows.

Shinya Miyamoto is from Osaka and he is a 41 years old veteran player. His jersey number is 6 and he has attached the jersey number 6 since the time of joining. He participated in the game as a second baseman from 1995 of the rookie year. His splendid defense was accepted and he participated in all the games as a second baseman by Japan Series. He became to participate in a game as a shortstop from 1996, and he was fixed to the shortstop.

He won various prizes from the next year fixed to the no. 2 batter and the shortstop.

And, he marked fielding percentage .997 of all the past highest.

He plays an active part in a professional baseball community in many cases also besides playing an active part in a team. Next, he worked the Japan Professional Baseball Players Association chairman for three years from 2005. Next, he was elected as the representative of WBC in 2006, and he acted as the captain also here. Japan won the victory in this convention, and they became the world's No.1. Finally, he acted as the captain also the representative of Japan for the Beijing Olympic Games baseball in 2008. Thus, he is playing an active part in the professional baseball community very much.

His play style has a very nice defense, as introduced first. He wins Golden Glove Award repeatedly. But, he is good also at batting. Even though he does not have power, sure batting strikes the nearly three batting average every year. Although he may be retirement soon, I want him to do my best at a best play to the last.

I bought many sponge cake with the souvenir. I went to Huis Ten Bosch for the first time, seemed to be large and was likely to become a missing child. Now, because illuminations of Huis Ten Bosch are beautiful, I would like to go there.

My favorite elementary school memories are an athletic meet. My athletic meet memories are 100-m running and a relay of the fourth grade in an elementary school. When I am an athletic meet of the fourth grader in an elementary school, I became a group together with a rival by 100-m running and relay. I was the feeling of winning absolutely. But, I have lost at 100-m running. I was very mortifying. I was worried after losing also in the relay. And I ran frantically at the time of the relay which rises most. As a result, I was able to pass the rival and I was able to hand the next runner the baton. The team won the victory and I was the highest feeling.

The second phase of the Yakult Swallows. Today, I introduce Tateyama of the pitcher of the Yakult Swallows.

Tateyama is from Kanagawa. He joined Yakult by the draft commission at the 3rd place in 2002. It was not so famous for him that I got to know him till then 2 or 3 years ago. He was injured at the joining 2 year time. He cut the ligament of the right elbow during the camp. Therefore, he did not come out of the year and next year to a game. However, he did not give up, and he returned to the first team in 2005, and mentioned the pro first victory immediately. Then, he improves skills and is large-playing an active part as the ace of the right arm of Yakult now. Because he is proud of the high percentage of victories, he is called "the man not losing."


His play style is pitching which beats a batter by the straight of 153 km of fastest, and a variegated breaking pitch from a sidearmed pitch. Especially, he can throw many breaking pitches. He had pitched many shots and sliders till 2008. But, he began to pitch a fork ball, and sff and a cutter in 2008 afterwards. Otherwise, he can pitch a knucklecurve, change-up, and a sinker. I think that that the breaking pitch of these many can be pitched is a reason which he does not lose.

I want him to do my best at this tune next year also.

Essay3 Movie review ~Kung fu Panda~

I watched the movie "Kung fu Panda" and I thought that this movie was a story which a
child seems to like. I thought that this movie was for children to the same extent as Toy Story. Moreover, I think that this movie can enjoy speediness shapely. This movie was the story which a weak panda is chosen as the Dragon Warrior by chance, reaches to an extreme of the arcana of the roll of a dragon to the end of pursuit of knowledge, defeats bad-fellow”Tairon”, and brings peace to a town. The point which the weakness of the panda was drawn everywhere was a point of laughter.

I introduce my favorite points in this movie. First, this movie had a scene which reminds me of "Dragon Ball" anime of Japan. The scene was mainly a fight. Therefore, I am watching this movie and became a nostalgic feeling. I liked “Dragon Ball” very much when I was a kindergartener and a schoolchild. Therefore, I was seeing this movie with feeling I had when I was watching at "Dragon Ball."

Next, I became to like the character of the leading role's panda "Po." I have liked the hero of "Toy Story" and "School of Rock". Therefore, I was also looking forward to this hero. And I like to him because this hero "Po" was a very individual character. He is a very lovely character and is interesting and weak. He was a character which we would like to protect. I desperately wanted him to become strong. Last, the duel scene in the suspension bridge was the highest. I rooted for "Pau" anyhow. The action scene was expressed well and I was excited. Moreover, graphics were very beautiful and I did not get bored.

I would like to see this movie and to see "Kung fu Panda 2." I think that it was a very good movie. This movie was a story to to see together with a child.

I went to eat shabu-shabu with the younger generation on November 8. My younger generation and I met after a long time. He is the younger generation of the baseball club of my high school, and he was working the captain. I and he had very good relations from the time of a high school. This shabu-shabu store is my part-time job place. I am acting as part-time job in this shabu-shabu store for three years. Because food is very delicious, please come. The store exists as the West Ginza in Kumamoto. If I am working there, I will give my service to you.

He is a batter hitting for a high average who mass-produces a hit. These days, he grew up to be a batter who can also strike a long hit. Therefore, he is called the "hit manufacture machine." He is protecting the outfielder who can employ a genius efficiently. He is very good not only at batting but defense.

He has won many prizes until now. First, he has won many prizes for "Golden Glove Award" and the "best nine." He is a player who has to play an active part still more from now on. I want him to do my best as hard as possible for the Yakult Swallows.

I went to the milk pasture in Aso on November 3. We came out of in the city at 10:00 of a morning, and went to Aso. We were only 1 hour and a half by the car from in the city to Aso.

We were able to feel nature very much on the way. First, We were able to see autumnal leaves. Although autumnal leaves could not be seen all over the town, trees were carrying out the autumnal leaves of the inside of a mountain very finely. Next, we were able to see natural cows. Cows were living very leisurely and they seemed to be peaceful. I think that I will become peaceful if human society also settles down at least as for cows.

But, milking was difficult more than it considered. I was able to do very precious experience. Lunch was eaten at the Viking restaurant in a pasture. I think that I don't get bored even if I goes to play how many times. I would like to go to play by all means again.

My latest favorite artist is "w-inds.". They came out in March, 2001. Their unit name that the wind of three persons' hometown was named be set to one and arrive all over the world. They came out as a sworn brother of "DA PUMP", and KEN of DA PUMP took charge of the dance of debut music. Although they were playing an active part in Japan several years from the debut, they performed the live for the first time in Taiwan in 2004. The live wins a great success, they become a star of Asia and their activity in Asia has increased now.

There is three favorite music of mine in their music. The first music is "Forever memories" of their debut music. This music is the song which sang painful love. They were saying　the TV programs, "This song is loaded with much thought of w-inds.". The voice of Keita of the vocal at this time was voice clear very lovelily. This music is an excellent piece of music of "w-inds." Next, the music which I like is the "four seasons.". This music comes out exactly in autumn, and is very quiet. Although especially they often take in a lap, the point with which the lap is not contained in this music is a good point. Moreover, they are complicated also in the promotional video of this music, and the jacket of CD. I think that a peculiar view of the world is transmitted from the promotional video of this music. This music is also wonderful. My last favorite music is "Long load.". This music is fresh and invigorating tempo and makes fine those who are listening to this music. The but deep meaning with fresh words is put. I am listening to this music, when energy is lost, and when you get tired. I think that I sell absolutely now even if they release this music.

Finally, I introduce the music which I'm getting hooked now. A music name is "Addicted to Love." Now, they changed directivity have released the music of a techno system. In the music of a techno system, the music which I like this music. I would like to expect that they continue evolving rapidly after this.

I read this book and thought that a driver was pitiful. If the stage of this tale is Japan, this driver has got fired. Because, the act worsens the impression of a company. The driver which lost the job with the child's mischief is very pitiful. If you read this book with the feeling of Japan, you will become a very unpleasant and sad feeling. I thought that there was nothing easy in Japanese works.

Reading this book, I thought that I would like to play in the town in Britain. I would like to go to that of Britain or France by a graduation journey.

Essay2 Movie review ~School of Lock~

I thought that this movie was a tale "a teacher teaches energetic children about rock as a part of study, and gives them motivation" until I see this movie. Moreover, I thought that what is used are musical instruments at elementary schools, such as a recorder and a keyboard harmonica. But, the contents of the movie were completely different. The story was an unprecedented story about a ruined rock musician who fakes being a substitute teacher, was hidden in an elementary school, constructed a rock band with schoolchildren, and aimed at a local rock contest. I was surprised that advanced musical instruments came out from the beginning.

My first favorite is a hero, “Dewey Finn”, in this movie. I was overwhelmed by the
powerful rock spirit which we can see from his body action which are full of feeling of a lively motion and looks like a rabid dog. I laughed very much, seeing him and had a favorable impression. I came to like the actor "Jack Black" who played such a role, and I thought that I would like to see other movies in which he is appearing.

Dewey was selfish, I got angry in the first part. But, he shows change by teaching
children. He became to think of himself as a partner. Under the influence of him, although children felt formality from their severe parents and their school, they regain brightness. And the most pleasant scene is their performance. At first, only the teacher seems to be pleasant and students made the rock performance boring. But, as for the last scene, all the members were performing happily. The severe parents and principal were also aiding the children. I became very glad, seeing the scene.
I think that this movie is the best musical film that a person can enjoy and can be impressed by.

I went to drink with seven friends of a university. I was very pleasant because I met everybody and a long time. We gathered in the town at 7:00. Everybody was loose about time as ever. This movie was full of the love for a toy, and the love to the children who love a toy. Moreover, the toys with which I played were made me remember that feeling. Furthermore, the scene where Andy plays with a toy also made me nostalgic. I think that this feeling is universal. I like the character of Woody and Buzz very much. Woody is little cowardly and Buzz isan idealistic person with the hard head. Both characters are interesting and two unique people. I think, As for the story, it becomes deep and persuasive just because the heroesare two such persons. I thought that the point which an adult and a child can enjoy wasthere. I think that the character setup is wonderful.

Moreover, I think, this is a story of the growth for Woody and Buzz. I feel a lot of what Buzz feels. The feeling when Buzz noticed that he was not a hero but a toy came across tome very much. And, the cry of Woody at that time sounded in my heart. Then, I feel the thrill that the simple action scene when Woody and Buzz are chasing Andy's car from aboy's house was exciting. Ketsumeishi in Fukuoka!!

I went to the concert of "Ketsumeishi" on Sunday, April 17. I went to marine Messe Fukuoka in the hall with the manager of the byte. We gathered in Kumamoto Station at 12 o'clock because the concert was from 18 o'clock. I got on Shinkansen "Sakura" for the first time on the day. Shinkansen was very beautiful because it had just opened about one month ago. "Sakura" was very early, and arrived at Fukuoka in about 50 minutes.


We arrived at Fukuoka and aimed at the hall with the bus. The number of buses of Fukuoka was much more than that of Kumamoto and I was surprised. We arrived at the hall by the bus in about 20 minutes. I went to the ramen shop near the hall because we were hungry. I ate the Hakata ramen for the first time. The Hakata ramen was very thick and was very delicious. The dumpling was very delicious too. We became full stomachs and went out of the shop.


When we returned to the hall around 15 o'clock, the long line was made. We queued up panicking in the row. We bought a lot of goods of "Ketsumeishi". The tension went up very much in the manager because he loved "Ketsumeishi". The manager was buying 20,000 yen quantile goods. He seemed to be very satisfied. I bought T-shirt, the towel, sunglasses, and the bag. They was about 10,000 yen in all.

The concert started at 18 o'clock. The hall was very wide and large though I had gone to marine Messe Fukuoka for the first time. I was surprised because marine Messe had not become a comparison thing with the concert venue in Kumamoto. We could listening to their representative tunes of "Sakura", "Couple Summer", "Ballade" and "Fight! Sarari-man". The end rose by the tune "Carnival" of customary, and the concert ended. It was a concert of about three hours.

The return went to Hakata Station by taxi, and returned by Shinkansen. This travel was only the first time for me. Moreover, I came to like "Ketsumeishi" very much. Happy memories were able to be made, and I was very happy. I wish to express my gratitude to the manager. I want also to attend a concert. I thought I wanted to go to the concert of a different artist.

Kintarou Baseball Team

I belong to the industrial team now. The name of the team is "Yakitori Kintaro ". I come to belong to the team in the third year. I am defending the third now though I was playing shortstop at that time of belonged. My batting order often comes second. I am holding out to maintain regular because this team is good all players.


This team has acquired power very much since last year. The result of this team of last year was semi-won the championship by "Hayaoki baseball tournament" that was the biggest rally in Kumamoto. We should get up very early for the play ball as for this rally at 6 AM. Moreover, if we don't win through by about ten games, we cannot win the championship because the number of participation team exceeds 200 team. I can play baseball very happily though I am tight from early morning. When semi-winning the championship, we were very glad. We hold out to win the championship this year.


Next, we semi-won "Ohayou baseball rally" that was a big rally secondarily in Kumamoto last year. We should get up early because this rally is a play ball at 6 AM. The number of participation team is about 100 team that are fewer than "Hayaoki baseball tournament". However, we are necessary to win by about eight games to win the championship.


And, we semi-won the championship in the rally "Kintaro cup" in which about 40 team participated in the spring of this year. This rally is managed by my Kintaro team's sponsoring. The veteran teams are collected by about 40 team and the rally is held. We want to hold out to win the championship next year.


"The 55th Kumamoto citizens Hayaoki baseball tournament" began the other day. We absolutely win the championship in this year.

The students study bookkeeping and accounting. The subject with the least number ofpeople is hospitality management. This subject is popular among girls but the number of boyshas increased recently.


Moreover, KGU also has a lot of subjects related to international issues because KGU hasinternational subjects such as in the Department of Economics and the Department of ForeignLanguage.


The Department of Economics has international economic as one subject. This subject requiresthe ability of the language study of English, Chinese, or Korean and also does study that appliesto the knowledge of international economy. Foreign language communications ability useful byvarious scenes is acquired from the business to economy and the social work. In addition, theDepartment of Economics has a economics department and a legal economics subject.


The Department of Foreign Language has east Asian and an English and American Section.We belong to English and American Section of this Department. The English and AmericanSection is aiming at educating people who can be active as a cosmopolitans inside and outsidethe country. There are a lot of chances to understand foreign countries like going abroad tostudy and the overseas training in this subject. This subject also helps in the acquisition of theteacher's license. We have a huge library. It is open from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. On Sundays,it is open from 10:00 am to 17:00 pm. The library is very quiet, so, there is very suitable for selfstudy.At there, we can do many things. We can read books, magazines, newspapers and wean also watch DVDs, listen to CDs, use computers and so on. Of course we can borrow booksfor 2 weeks. To enter the library, we have to bring our student identification card.


We also have a book store ‘Maruzen’ in the ground floor of building 12. They sell books,textbooks, magazines, comic books, stationeries, lunches, breads, ice creams, snacks, drinksand so on. It is very useful because we need not to go to an other book store far away.


At the building 14, 4th floor, there is the e-campus center. In the self-study corner, we can usethe computers freely and borrow notebook a personal computer for 1 week. Always manystudents use it.


In our university’s site, there are a convenience store, Lawson, a dining room and a bakery. Atthe Lawson, some of this university’s students work part time. Dining room’s foods and bakery’sbreads are all handmade. Regularly, the new dishes are developed and sold in the bakery. Theyare very nice. At lunch time, the dining room’s seats are filled with students.


Surprisingly, in our university’s site, there is a beauty salon called ‘Hair make Amore’. It is instudent hall’s second floor. Some students go there to get their hair cut, or get a permanent andcolor.


As you can see, we have a lot of convenient facilities. Thanks to them, we can lead useful lives.We proud and like this university.


Lastly, we are going to introduce the principal events by month. There are many excitingevents in KGU. Our university has not only substantial faculty and facility but also rich eventsand activity.


In April, we have an entrance ceremony in Kumamoto prefectural theater. More than 150new students gather in its concert hall wearing their brand-new suits. Then, some TV stationscome and interview because it is a large scale ceremony. In several days, we have a ‘ Welcomepicnic ’. This is a plan that new students can make friends with each other. More than 1000freshmen take part in this picnic every year. We go to our destination by bus, and enjoy manyevents there. This is also the big chance making friends with teachers.


In October, the most biggest event in this university is held which is the Festival called‘ Takumasai ’. This festival has a sports field and cultural field, and many circle teams play animportant role in this. The cultural field is more gorgeous than any other one . It is held for threedays with a stage concert , exhibition, stalls, and so on. We recommend you to see the stage ofMiss Campus. You can see many pretty and lovely KGU girls. And then, an entertainer guestcomes as a judge. Last year, ‘Brother tom ‘ came, and put enthusiasm into the people.


By the way, we have this festival’s advertisement parade early in October. We have a paradein the city carrying a portable shrine on our shoulder with cool and lovely costume. The portableshrine and costume are original for each circle team. The parade in the city is really worthseeing.


These are especially exciting events in KGU. We are enjoying university life with it every day.We love our lively university.

About my future goals

I have two future goals. I wanted to realize this two goals at junior high school student's time.

The first goal is that I teach children baseball. I had been playing baseball since the time of the elementary school of the second grader. But, I have very knowledge of baseball because I had been studying since grade-schooler's time. Then, I wanted to become a teacher who taught this knowledge. For that, I became a teacher and wanted to teach the child baseball. I liked English better than other subjects because I went to the English conversation school at grade-schooler's time. And I thought that I became a teacher of English.

My second goal was born at this time. And, I came to study aiming at the university where an English department existed. But, I have fallen into the school of first choice in entrance exam for high school. I passed the high school of the second wish. I held out the study of baseball and English in the high school. Today, I introduce the most dangerous day and the saddest day in my life. First, the most dangerous thing in my life happened when I was in the fifth grade of elementary school. I realized that my eyes gradually became painful though I momentarily did not understand what happened. The ball had hit my eyes. When I was crouching in the batter's box, the supervisor and the guardian ran up. My eyes were swollen too much and I could not see anything. I went to the hospital at once, and the doctor examined my eyes. My eyes continued to be swollen for about two weeks though no abnormality was found in my eyes, I was told by the doctor. I was told by the doctor that I would have lost my sight if it were not a soft ball but a regulation ball baseball. I was very relieved to hear that. I thought I may come to the hospital at once. The day was a really dangerous day because I might have lost my sight for my entire life.

Next, the saddest day in my life was the day when I did not pass the school of my choice through the entrance exam for the high school. I began to go to cram school when in the second grade of junior highschool. I went to school in the morning, played baseball in the evening; I went to the cram school at night, and it was a hard schedule. I was not able to enter the school of choice though I continued to try for one and a half years. I decided that I worked hard in the high school, and I would go to the university whose examination I did not fail though I was very sad. And, I was able to enter KGU. I was very glad, because the sadness at that time has changed into pleasure.

I read "The Big Egg". This book was a story that the egg was an egg of the ostrich that a house next door had kept when wondered about the family that pretended not to know, because had an egg large only by one when the family who kept the chicken was collecting eggs that a certain day chicken laid. I want to eat the newly laid egg keeping the chicken once in childhood because the egg and the chicken were loved. When I grow up, I want to keep the chicken.

Essay3 My hometown

My hometown is Kumamoto Prefecture. I know Kumamoto well because I have been
living in Kumamoto since I was born. There is a lot of natural beauty and many
sightseeing spots in Kumamoto. Talking about natural beauty, there are a lot of
famous mountains in Kumamoto. They are famous as both sightseeing spots
and date spots. I will introduce the mountains in Kumamoto.

First of all, I introduce the most famous, which is Mt. Aso in Kumamoto
Prefecture. Mt. Aso is located in the Aso area of Kumamoto Prefecture. It has
an famous large-scale caldera and a magnificent “Gairinzan”, and it is
familiar to many people as symbol of Kumamoto Prefecture. Mt. Aso is the
highest mountain in Kumamoto and it is 1592 meters tall.

Next, Mt. Kinpo is located in the west of Kumamoto City. It has the caldera
like Mt. Aso. The citizens are fond of Mt. Kinpo as the symbol of Kumamoto
City while Mt. Aso, located in the eastern part of Kumamoto Prefecture, is
known as a symbol of Kumamoto Prefecture. The altitude of Mt. Kinpo is the
second highest in Kumamoto and it is 665 meters.

Next, Mt. Hanaoka is located in the northwest of Kumamoto. Mt. Hanaoka
is known as the brother mountain of Mt Kinpo. A Bussyaritou, which is
called a stupa in English, was constructed on the mountain to make a prayer
of the global peace. Only 132.7 meters, Mt. Hanaoka is not so tall, and
because the night view seen there is beautiful, it was chosen as one of the
best 100 Japanese night views.

In other parts of Kumamoto, there are a lot of sightseeing spots that have
beautiful scenery such as Kikuchi Keikoku, Suizenji park, Amakusa, and
Aso farmlands. Also, there are buildings, and Kumamoto castle is famous. I
think the number of tourists increases, and Kumamoto will become more
famous, because Shinkansen opened.
